Our library collection is Accelerated Reader cataloged with the majority of library books aligned with this reading program. The school library also houses 4 computers for learner use. In addition to our collection of English language library books, we have a large selection in Spanish as well as in both English/Spanish. Why not join The Birthday Club at Jefferson School Library and give a gift of a donation to the library in honor of the birthday person. The average cost of a library book is $15-20. A bookplate with the student's name will be placed in the book purchased with your generous donation. To participate, please come by Jefferson School Library or call 559-562-6303, extension 5321. Library Fund Raiser

Jefferson School Library has initiated a project to bring funds to the Library for books and library furnishings. It is a "green" fundraiser for the recycling of cell phones, consumer electronics, and gold jewelry. The library will collect the following items in working or nonworking condition: Cell Phones, Ink Jet Cartridges, Laptop computers/Notebooks/Netbooks/Tablets, iPods, Digital Cameras, Digital Video Cameras, and gold/silver jewelry. Jefferson School Library is partnering with EcoPhones in this project. EcoPhones provides all public relations materials and pays the shipping charges for the items sent. EcoPhones then sends a check to the school library for each shipment. If the items to be recycled are in working condition, the monetary return is greater than if the items are not in working order. This is a great project that provides service to the community and helps keep our environment cleaner. And, it provides additional needed funds for our Library! Parents and community members may drop off the listed items to the school office or bring the items directly to the Library. For further information, please call 559-562-6303, ext. 5321.
